What should you do when you first join?

Learn one complete progression loop before chasing a rare unit: roll for units, try a fight, inspect an upgrade, then check the next zone requirement. These are the main systems named in the developer’s description. The order below is a practical way to learn them; it is not a timed speedrun or a promise about how quickly an account will progress.

Start from the official Roblox game page and check that the creator is Defeat Anime Bosses. Similar anime RNG titles can have different codes and progression rules.

How do you make the first few decisions?

1. Check the free luck offer

The official description advertises extra luck for liking the game and joining its community. Follow the luck and group bonus checklist before a longer rolling session. The developer’s public description does not give a numerical multiplier, so do not plan around an assumed percentage.

2. Read your first unit cards

After rolling, inspect the information the game shows for each unit: name, level, displayed stats, and any mutation label. Keep those observations together. A screenshot of a unit without its level can make a later comparison misleading.

The unit reference cards show a concrete example: Gura’s panel separates DMG, SPA, CRIT and CRIT DMG. The player-level bar is not the unit’s level. Search the reference by name or rarity before comparing your own copy.

Try your available units against the same enemy or encounter when practical. Change one thing at a time so that a better result can be connected to that change.

3. Learn merging before committing valuable units

The developer confirms that merging levels up anime units. It does not publish the complete recipe in the game description. Open the relevant screen and read the actual requirements and result before confirming.

Our merging and levels guide explains what to compare, including which units are selected and whether a special copy is involved. There is no need to consume a unit merely because a guide says its rarity is low.

4. Inspect the next zone gate

Read the gate’s current cost and requirements before spending the resource it asks for elsewhere. Your next choice should solve a concrete problem: enough strength for a fight, or enough resources for access.

The zone requirement reference includes readable gameplay prices for Planek, Stadium and Curse College. These dated observations provide useful targets to compare with the menu you see now.

For the early codes milestone reported by a third-party guide, see the Death Castle checklist. Treat prices copied from other sites as leads until they match your own game.

What should you do when progress slows down?

Identify the symptom before changing your account:

What you notice What to check next
A fight stops at roughly the same point Compare one unit or level change against that same fight
The next zone stays locked Read the gate message and note every requirement
A code cannot be redeemed Record the exact response; check spelling, prior use, and any progression restriction
You have a potion but do not know its effect Read its tooltip and duration before using it
You rolled a mutation Record its label and inspect it before including that unit in a merge

The bosses and endless waves guide provides a simple comparison log for repeated attempts. For consumables, use the potions and Trait Shards guide to decide what information you need before spending them.

What should you finish in your first session?

Aim to leave with an understanding of your account, rather than a target rarity:

  • Know which game and creator you are playing.
  • Have checked the advertised community luck offer.
  • Understand the information on at least one unit card.
  • Know what your next merge would use and what it would produce.
  • Know the next zone requirement shown to you.
  • Have checked the reported codes and redemption notes.
  • Have a clear next action for the obstacle currently blocking you.

Which sources support this route?

FAQ

What do you do in Defeat Anime RNG?
The developer describes rolling for anime units, fighting bosses, merging units to level them up, surviving endless waves, and unlocking new zones.
Should I redeem codes immediately?
Check the codes page when you start, but note that Beebom reports a Death Castle unlock requirement. Read the message shown in your own game before assuming a code has expired.
Is there a confirmed best beginner unit?
We do not have a verified current unit-stat dataset to support that claim. Compare the units you actually own at their current levels and modifiers against the same enemy.
